A well-established holistic small animal practice is available for immediate sale as the owner wishes to retire.
With approximately 2,000 active clients, we have built a loyal client base seeking a different perspective on animal health and wellbeing. The hard work has been done to establish a sustainable and profitable business, and it is now ready for one or more veterinarians with a strong interest in integrative medicine to take it to the next stage.
The current owner works part-time clinical hours (approximately 22 hours per week over 3–4 days) and derives a comfortable income. There is the option to maintain the current relaxed pace or expand the practice and services offered.
The practice is currently staffed by one veterinarian and four long-term part-time support staff. Two additional holistic veterinarians rent consulting rooms for their own businesses, providing both additional income and a collegial working environment.
The clientele are well educated and committed, and strong systems are already in place. The premises have been recently refurbished, offer excellent parking, and are leased with an option to renew in August 2027.
We currently provide consultation services only, with no surgery performed on-site. However, there is ample opportunity to expand if desired. The caseload is an interesting mix of general practice, referral holistic medicine, and behavioural cases.
We maintain excellent relationships with local veterinary clinics and regularly refer surgical and imaging cases. The current owner is available to remain with the practice on a part-time basis until the end of 2027 to assist with a smooth transition, if desired.
