Dr Holle received her DVM from Justus-Liebig University in Giessen, Germany. After immigrating to New Zealand, she completed a PhD in veterinary science at Massey University and spend several years in veterinary research with a focus on equine clinical studies and pathology. She also held tertiary teaching and course development positions focusing on equine education, as well as a few years as research veterinarian in the field of efficacy and safety in a major NZ based animal health company. Since leaving the animal health industry in 2005 her main focus has been the expansion of her horse breeding operation which she started with her husband in the late 90s. Sabina also furthered her passion, knowledge and understanding of classical dressage training principles and her accreditation as an international breed judge for Spanish Horses which she received from the Spanish College of Judges based in Madrid in 2009. As part of this process she undertook study toward a Graduate Diploma in Arts, with a Spanish Major.

Over the last decade she expanded her knowledge to include TCVM by completing the Graduate Diploma in Veterinary Acupuncture (CIVT) and becoming a certified veterinary acupuncturist. Other areas of interest include myofascial release techniques, rehabilitation & training and equine biomechanics. Currently, she operates her own independent integrative veterinary business, specializing in equine acupuncture, herbal medicine & food therapy as well as a small education business, running faceto-face seminars on equine biomechanics and training, helping horse owners and trainers further their knowledge on correct training, postural rehabilitation and re-training of horses with musculoskeletal issues
