About the Webinar

Chronic dermatitis in
small animals is a multifactorial condition requiring more than symptom-based management. Blood Deficiency is a common yet underrecognized TCM pattern that contributes to impaired skin barrier function, persistent inflammation, and poor treatment response in dermatologic patients. This presentation focuses on recognizing Blood Deficiency in dogs with chronic or allergic-like dermatitis and demonstrates how targeted support of Blood and Wei Qi improves both short- and long-term clinical outcomes. You will learn how addressing this pattern can reduce pruritus, enhance skin resilience, help to restore the skin barrier, and improve long term outcomes for our patients. Practical clinical insights, treatment strategies, and pattern differentiation will be emphasized to help you optimize results in complex dermatology cases.
