Harnesses come in all shapes and sizes, just as dogs do. But many owners, pet shops, and yes, even veterinarians don't notice a poor fitting harness and the implications it has on that dog’s posture, joint alignment, muscle, fascia, and mobility while wearing it. Over the miles of walking or jogging, an ill-fit harness can cause thoracic girdle rotation, abduction and rotation of extremities, upper thoracic impingement, and other signaling that leads to mal-alignment and future joint ailment. Join Dr Ava Frick as she presents dogs on the street and market packaging of poor and good fitting examples. It will connect to potential chiropractic problems of recurrent subluxations and myofascial considerations.
