'The Use of Saam Acupuncture in Animals' Webinar Presented by Dr Patricia Baley and Dr Liane Sperlich

Categories:
Acupuncture

About the Webinar

This webinar provides an overview of the Saam Acupuncture system and how it can be applied in a Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine setting. Originating during the Joseon Dynasty in Korea, Saam acupuncture is based on recognizing combined characteristics from Yin Yang and Five Phases theories derived from the Yi Jing, Huangdi Neijing Suwen and Lingshu, and Nan Jing. Diagnostic clinical pictures and point combinations using this tradition will be outlined. The presenters have found that gaining proficiency with this technique has greatly benefited their patients. They will provide examples from their private practice experiences to illustrate the translation of Saam to veterinary acupuncture applications.
