Much is made of the role of leaky gut in allowing the microbiome to trigger immune mediated diseases like allergies and IBD, but how does one plug those leaks? We can’t, after all, easily and non-invasively take a look at the pathology affecting the gut wall and there are no lab tests to give us this information.
