After graduating BVMS from Murdoch University (1998), Kate has worked in both mixed and small animal Veterinary practice. She has completed International Veterinary Acupuncture Certificate (2005), 3 years study with Homeopathic Professional Teaching Group, LFHom(vet) (2003), Chinese Veterinary Herbal Medicine Certificate (2008), Veterinary Food Therapy Training (2015), and Certification in Veterinary Natural Nutrition (2023). She has an interest in all aspects of integrative therapies from the diagnostics of Tongues to the practicalities of herbs and utilizes these in her consultation practice, Holistic Paws, in Canberra. Kate has had active roles within Integrative Veterinarians Australia as Secretary, Treasurer and Conference organiser. She lives with her husband, 2 teenage sons, 2 Bordoodles and an ever growing number of chickens.
