Dr. Laura Taylor graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph, in 1989 and moved to Western Canada in the early 90’s. Her initiation into holistic veterinary medicine began with certification in veterinary chiropractic in the mid-90’s. Over the next decade she received training in veterinary acupuncture, homeopathy and equine osteopathy. Dr. Taylor also took many courses in human osteopathic techniques including craniosacral therapy and visceral manipulation.
Her scope of practice is limited to osteopathy for dogs, cats and horses. Dr. Taylor treats musculoskeletal and neurologic cases and works with a wide range of animals, from puppies/kittens to elderly dogs and cats, and canine and equine athletes to improve performance and prevent injuries. It is always her goal to improve the quality of life of animals by optimizing their mobility.
In her leisure time she enjoys getting into the Rocky Mountains with her husband to enjoy activities such as hiking, biking, camping, snowshoeing and photography.
