Ilona Hudson graduated from the University of Sydney's Veterinary School in 1994, laying the foundation for a career defined by continuous learning and clinical excellence. In 2000, she achieved Membership in the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Equine Medicine, followed in 2004 by a Graduate Diploma in Animal Biomechanical Medicine. She went on to become a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist through IVAS in 2010, completed her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment in 2013, and in 2019 added Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist through CRI to her impressive credentials.
In practice, Ilona leads Noah's Ark Veterinary Practice in Port Stephens and is the founder of Move Unleashed, a cutting-edge animal biomechanical medicine business. A passionate educator, she has taught the Graduate Diploma in Animal Biomechanical Medicine for over a decade, inspiring the next generation of professionals, and continues to mentor veterinary students and recent graduates with hands-on guidance and career support. She currently serves as President of the Australian Biomechanical Performance Association (ABPA).
Outside of her professional life, Ilona is a proud mum to Benjamin, a 21-year-old engineering student. She is an accomplished FEI dressage competitor, partnered with her loyal Warmblood mare, Roquette - and is entirely at the mercy of a mischievous Devon Rex cat.
