Animal Biomechanical Medicine (ABM) is an integrated approach to assessing and improving movement in animals. Rather than focusing solely on isolated injuries, ABM looks at the entire system - how joints, muscles, fascia, and the nervous system work together under load. By combining chiropractic and osteopathic techniques with rehabilitation and management strategies, ABM addresses the underlying causes of pain, poor performance, and compensatory injury patterns. 

Used in both horses and dogs, this approach supports recovery from injury, enhances athletic performance, and helps prevent future problems. As veterinary medicine continues to evolve, ABM plays an increasingly important role in multidisciplinary care, ensuring animals move comfortably, perform optimally, and maintain long-term musculoskeletal health.
