How Membership Works

• Your CIVT membership runs for a full calendar year from the time you join.
• Veterinarians and Veterinary Students are required to provide their registration number, state, and country, and upload a current registration certificate
• Veterinary students are required to upload documentation that confirms they are currently enrolled in a veterinary degree i.e. student card.
• Qualified and licensed or registered animal and allied health professionals may apply for Animal Health Professional membership, subject to eligibility criteria. Animal health professionals are required to supply the name of the practice in which they work OR the state in which they are registered, and their registration number. They are also required to upload qualification documents i.e. certificate of course completion.
• All other health professionals applying for Animal Health Professional members are required to list their qualifications and details of registration with a recognised national body. They are also required to upload documentation i.e. certificate of course completion or registration certificate.
• When you submit your application you will receive an email confirming the application was received.
• We will contact you if we have any questions or need clarification.
• Memberships are approved manually, this can take up to five days because of international time differences, but it generally only takes a day or two.
• You will receive a membership confirmation email and a membership certificate when your application has been approved.
• Your annual renewal will be processed automatically, saving you the effort of submitting membership application forms and payments each year.
• The funds will be deducted from your credit card or PayPal account on the due date.
• You will receive a renewal reminder email advising your membership is due for renewal.
• You will receive a membership renewal confirmation email and a membership certificate when your application has been approved.
• You can cancel your membership at any time.
