Liver patient diets need to lower protein intake without causing protein deficiency by providing the minimum full array of needed amino acids, while also not exceeding 5% carbohydrate.  A low carbohydrate fresh food diet contains naturally occurring nutrients which are more easily absorbed and utilised than those in processed food. 

This webinar matches fresh food with culinary and medicinal herbs which can assist the three stages of liver detoxification. It includes several recipes which are balanced according to the NRC Dog and Cat Nutrition Guidelines and are also balanced according to Traditional Chinese Medicine.
