We are delighted to welcome all of you to a new year for the College of Integrative Veterinary Therapies. While CIVT has new ownership, we have not changed direction. We have incorporated the past mission of CIVT with an invigorated and expanded team. Our new team of directors continues to work with CIVT's founders, Barbara Fougere & Steve Marsden and our staff to improve the website, programs and quality education for students as we enter this new year and new future for the College. 2022 will see our community thrive as we continue to build the very best innovative veterinary education available anywhere for dedicated professionals and animal caregivers everywhere.
We thank all our students and supporters for your enthusiasm and dedication to education through CIVT. We gratefully welcome your continued generosity of feedback and support to CIVT. We are eager to stretch the limits of integrative education to improve the health of animals and their caregivers, the entire animal industry, our veterinary profession and ultimately, the health of our planet.
Change is definitely happening everywhere. At CIVT we will embrace this culture of change because our mission clearly involves taking a fresh look and offering something new. And what else is new this year?? Our dedicated information technology experts have created a completely new, beautiful and easy-to-navigate, mobile-friendly website that will meet the increasing demands of our current and future membership. In it, we have incorporated all of CIVT’s educational tools with phenomenal resources, the most current information and compassionate guidance for our members and students. The more we seek, the more we can provide.
We have started the year at a full gallop - offering a full calendar of exciting new certifications, coursework, webinars and podcasts to add to our diploma programs for our community. We have made it through a challenging year, with many changes and cultural shifts. It’s our time to shine.
In 2022, we will have increased our capacity to engage and energize our CIVT membership and have positioned ourselves to exponentially increase the options for each student. In this turbulent time of uncertainty, CIVT is clearly the solid and sensible leader for integrative veterinary education and resources.
Let’s all rekindle our commitment to our mission, rejoin our hands (virtual and otherwise!) and regain the joy we have in our fascinating professions. We have the best jobs in the world – we work for and with animals and animal-loving people for animal health. What could be better than that?
May health, love, laughter, kindness, bright days, comforting nights, and delicious foods fuel all of our exciting adventures in 2022!
