Dr Doug Knueven earned his veterinary degree from Ohio State University in 1987 and is the medical director of Beaver Animal Clinic in Beaver, PA. He has earned certification in veterinary acupuncture, veterinary Chinese herbal medicine and veterinary chiropractic. He also has advanced training in many holistic therapies including Chinese food therapy, homeopathy, osteopathy, and nutrition.

Dr Knueven has been practicing holistic, integrative veterinary medicine since 1995. He lectures on holistic medicine topics at national and international veterinary programs. In 2018, Dr. Knueven was recognized as the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association “Holistic Teacher of the Year.”
