Shelley graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, London, UK in 2002 and has worked in small animal practice ever since. She has a keen interest in the management of chronic disease and also in geriatric care, which led her to explore the use of integrative medicine, first studying acupuncture and then western veterinary herbal medicine. Shelley has completed the CIVT diploma in veterinary Western herbal medicine and more recently a certificate in work based training and assessment in order to join the CIVT faculty.

Shelley works predominantly in a small animal practice in Hampshire, UK, and enjoys the mix of conventional veterinary medicine alongside running a busy referral practice in integrative medicine. Shelley is a committee member of the British Association of Veterinary Herbalists and is excited to help fellow veterinarians discover the world of integrative medicine.
